Mike Banewicz of Hagaman, NY holds an A.S. in Performing Arts: Music from Schenectady County Community College and a B.M. in Music Education from the Crane School of Music.  He is one of the original members of Tony's Polka Band since early 1997. As Tony's brother, Mike plays a role in composing and arranging music for the band. Mike has been studying trumpet since age 10 and has also studied classical violin.  Currently, Mike is a band director in the Northville Central School District and can be seen performing in churches, with orchestras and jazz groups, and as a soloist around New York's capital district.
