Tony Banewicz, of Hagaman, NY, holds an A.S. in Performing Arts: Music from Schenectady County Community College.  Tony founded Tony's Polka Band in 1997 originally as a family weekend pastime, but through years of work and persistence, built an award winning performing group.  As leader, Tony composes and arranges the majority of the music heard on stage, is responsible for bookings and scheduling, and drives.  Tony is also an accomplished pianist and organist and frequently performs as a soloist for many area events.
